I knew it had to be good if the Gourge boys were driving two hours round-trip three times a week to see you. I didn’t know what to expect when George Gourge took me to your 6 a.m. Kettlebell class back in March, and was pleased to learn it was only a 30-minute class… I never would have lasted a full hour! It was an awesome class. Your instructional skills are some of the best I’ve experienced. You are a great motivator, and you have an obvious interest in your clients’ success.Also, it was a big comfort to me to see so many women in class. I’d never done anything like the kettlebell class. I prefer cardio workouts to strength-training, so I’m thrilled to find a way to combine the tow.
I feel very fortunate that you were willing to work with us to bring your Kettlebell Pump to our YMCA. We are always looking for new programs to keep our members satisfied. Of course, on a not-for-profit budget, we don’t always have the funds for the “latest and greatest” fitness craze. The Kettlebell Pump training was very affordable, and with equipment coast a minimum, I know this is a good investment for out facility. Our staff and members are buzzing about kettlebells even though we haven’t officially stated classes. We expect kettlebells to be a big hit with our personal training clients, too.
You did a fabulous job training our instructors. You gave a good history of kettlebells, the benefits of kettlebell training, and a thorough training on cues, techniques and safety. Our instructors left with choreography for a variety of classes. Afterwards, I was thrilled to hear the other instructors are as excited as I am about bringing Kettlebell Pump to your Y! I can’t say enough abour your support with our instructor training and the set-up of Kettlebell Pump at our Y! I will be happy to recommend you to others considering the Kettle Pump training program. Also, we are willing to host a Kettlebell Pump demonstration class here for other YMCAs… Just give us a few months to get our classes rolling!
